Eating is fun and when your day of skiing is over your decisions move to the many tasty restaurants in Vail. Good news there are a variety of places to dine and most are family friendly.
The establishments where your family can indulge in pizza, pasta and burgers are plentiful. They have lively atmospheres, frequented by the locals and have that excellent small town, ski resort feel.
Don’t stop there, Vail has restaurants that you can go back to the hotel, ease into the hot tub, shower up and don your finest wears to eat at. The cool part of Vail is that you really are not required to dress up fancy or you will be denied entrance. Ski clothes are everywhere. But if you and your family would like to dine in style you can do that as well.
Vail Village and Lionshead have restaurants with a long history and a reputation for excellent food and service. This is as true now as ever before. Don’t let Vail Village or Lionshead be your only choices, there are nooks and crannies all over town that have delicious food, great for families and decent priceing. The restaurant section will have a whole list of options for you to choose from.
If you want more than pizza, pasta and burgers, local restaurants serve a variety of food everything from organic meats and veggies to food with a more ethnic flair. A lot of places will have their signature appetizers or special so ask for them first so you can try some new dishes.
