If you or your child is a skateboard fanatic, consider driving over Vail pass to visit Woodward at Copper Mountain. Inside “The Barn” skaters will find an 8-foot bowl, a 4-foot mini ramp and a 2-foot micro-mini ramp, all coated in Skatelite surface coating. There’s also a 1,600 square-foot mini street course and a 5-foot drop into a foam pit. During the summer, the facility offers week-long skate camps, which include trips to various skate parks around Colorado. Most camps are for kids age 10 and older, though there’s one camp for kids from 8 to 12 years old.
