Recreation and fun is a part of everyone’s life and our goal is to see our valley’s kids have enjoyable and safe ways to do just that. This is a great place to get wet. This pool facility is open for lap swim, water fitness, and lessons from Memorial Day to Labor Day. Your little minnows will love the wading pool.

Carbondale Parks & Rec & John M Fleet Pool, Carbondale

Through innovation and community cooperation, we will develop leisure services, programs and facilities that improve the quality of life for all citizens, and benefit the economic vitality of our community. Enjoy a soak along with views of Mt Sopris at the John M Fleet pool. With depths up to 11 feet, it offers swimming lessons, preschool aquatics lessons, parent & child classes, and springboard diving classes.

Glenwood Hot Springs Pool, Glenwood Springs

The pool was developed in 1888 to harness the millions of gallons of naturally hot mineral water that rises from the source of the spring and became world-renowned as a healing wonder set in a mountain paradise. Today, visitors can soothe their muscles, hydrate their skin, swim laps, take a dive, enjoy water slides and wade into the kiddie pool. It’s the perfect blend of past and present.

Water Temp: 90°-93° F and the therapy pool 104° F.

Snowmass Recreation Center, Snowmass Village

Working hard towards a mission to provide safe, expertly managed recreation programs that promote community cohesion, physical fitness, as well as family and individual well-being. Snowmass offers outdoor saltwater pools, including a leisure pool heated to 94 degrees and has a zero-depth entry, tumble buckets and various waterfalls and jets. There is a 120” water slide that is open throughout the summer. Enjoy the hot tub after a full day of mountainside adventures.

Aspen Rec Center Climbing Wall

From the courts to the fields, from the pools to the trails, you’ll find your fun right here! Grab your tennis racket, your golf clubs, and your swimsuit. Aspen Parks & Recreation gives you endless options for sports, leisure and craft activities. Find lots of water fun at the James E Moore pool. Swim in the competitive pool with a one-meter diving board or the zero to 4-foot deep recreation pool, complete with a two-story slide, lazy river and spray features. Admission includes use of climbing tower, open swim, open skate, weight and fitness rooms, fitness classes, and tennis.

Glenwood Community Center Pool, Glenwood Springs

The facility is a large Community Center featuring a covered ice rink, climbing wall, internet lab, banquet area, childcare, gymnasium, fitness center, outdoor tennis courts, dance studio and aquatic center with competitive swim lanes and an interactive play zone. The Aquatic Center has a multi-purpose 25-yard indoor pool with eight swim lanes for fitness enthusiasts, a 1-meter diving board located in the multi-purpose pool, a therapeutic and relaxing 10 person whirlpool tub, and an activity “zero depth” pool (0″ to 3ft 6in) with gradual beach entry for easy access, where you can spray and splash or have fun sliding on our wacky water slide.
